FaultMaskOutput Parameter
Default Value: 0
Minimum Value: None
Maximum Value: None
Units: None
Type: int
IMPORTANT: The controller generates an axis fault only if you set the corresponding bit in the FaultMask Parameter. When an axis fault is generated, you can configure what the axis does by changing the state of the corresponding bit in the FaultMaskDecel Parameter, the FaultMaskDisable Parameter, and the FaultMaskDisableDelay Parameter.
The FaultMaskOutput parameter specifies the fault conditions that cause the axis to change the state of its digital outputs in accordance with the FaultOutputSetup Parameter and FaultOutputState Parameter. This parameter is a bit mask where each bit corresponds to a specific axis fault.
When you select the box next to a given fault, the axis sets the outputs specified in the FaultOutputSetup parameter to the states specified in the FaultOutputState parameter. By default, when you clear the fault the outputs are set to the level opposite that specified by the FaultOutputState. You can change this behavior by using the Fault Outputs setting of the FaultSetup Parameter.
