Set the Coordinates

The origin of the coordinate system of the drawing must align with the origin of the coordinate system of the machine tool. If the coordinate systems are not aligned, use the procedure that follows to configure the drawing correctly in CADFusion.

  1. Do one of the procedures that follow to select all of the shapes:
    • In the Project pane, right-click the Shapes node and select Select All Shapes. The CADFusion canvas highlights all of the shapes that are selected in the Project pane.
    • On the canvas, drag a selection rectangle so that it includes all of the shapes that you want to select. The shapes that you select are highlighted on the canvas.
  2. NOTE: If you have more than one group of shapes, you can adjust the coordinate systems on each group separately.

  3. In the Home ribbon, in the Transform section, click Move. To move the shapes, you work on the canvas or in the Properties pane.
    • On the canvas, click the start point and drag the mouse to the point where you want to end.
    • In the Properties pane:
      1. Click the Expand button that is adjacent to Move offset.
      2. Type the X value and the Y value of the X-Y offset that you want to use.
      3. Click the Finish button to complete the move operation.
