In the Project pane, click the Expand button adjacent to each combined Shape to see the skywriting transitions between entities. If the break angle between entities is larger than the angle that you specified for entity skywriting, then no transitions show in the Project pane between those entities.
Entity Skywriting inserts a Bezier curve between consecutive, non-tangent entities. You can apply Entity Skywriting only to combined shapes and text because those are the only shapes that have more than one entity. CADFusion shows entity skywriting on the canvas.
Table: Entity Skywriting Properties
Property | Description |
---|---|
Control Point Offset |
Specify the distance between the start/end point of the inserted Bezier curve and the inner control points. If you increase this value, the size of the Bezier curve also increases. |
Extension Length |
Optional. You can specify a length to extend each entity before the Bezier curve starts and after it ends. Each entity is extended the same length using a LINEAR (G1) move. Use this setting to return to constant velocity after moving over the Bezier curve. |
Break Angle |
Specify, in degrees, the maximum break angle between entities. If the break angle is 180°, then skywriting is inserted between all consecutive, non-tangent entities. |
Keep the tool on while skywriting |
If you do not select this box, the assigned tool is turned off during the skywriting motion. |
