VelocityCommandThreshold Parameter
Default Value: 0.0
Minimum Value: 0.0
Maximum Value: None
Units: velocity
Type: double
IMPORTANT: The controller generates an axis fault only if you set the corresponding bit in the FaultMask Parameter. When an axis fault is generated, you can configure what the axis does by changing the state of the corresponding bit in the FaultMaskDecel Parameter, the FaultMaskDisable Parameter, and the FaultMaskDisableDelay Parameter.
Use the VelocityCommandThreshold parameter to define the maximum velocity that can be commanded on an axis after it has been homed. If the velocity that you command on the axis is more than this threshold, then the Max Velocity Command Fault occurs.
The VelocityCommandThresholdBeforeHome Parameter defines the maximum velocity that can be commanded on the axis if the axis is not homed.
Tip: If you want to limit the maximum speed of an axis without generating a fault, use the MaxSpeedClamp Parameter.
