HyperWire Communication

The fiber-optic, light-based HyperWire motion control bus from Aerotech is a fast, high-throughput communication bus for motion control.

Drive-Based Controller

If you are using a drive-based controller (such as an iXC4), the drive-based controller contains an SFP port. The glass optical fiber, high-speed communication cables securely connect from the drive-based controller to additional Automation1 drive hardware. You can connect up to 12 axes of precision motor drives on the HyperWire motion control bus.

PC-Based Controller

If you are using a PC-based controller, the HyperWire PCIe card is easy to install and adds two SFP ports. The glass optical fiber, high-speed communication cables securely connect from the HyperWire card to Automation1 drive hardware. You can connect up to 32 axes of precision motor drives on the HyperWire motion control bus.
