HomePositionSet Parameter

Default Value: 0.0

Minimum Value: None

Maximum Value: None

Units: distance

Type: double

Use the HomePositionSet parameter to set the value that the position display in the application shows at the home position. At the end of the home cycle, the controller normally sets the program position and position command values to zero and declares the axis to be homed. This parameter lets you specify a nonzero value at the home position. The controller applies this value to all positions including program position command and position command.

The HomePositionSet parameter does not cause movement of the axis. Use the HomeOffset Parameter if you require movement from the reference position, which is usually the encoder marker, to the final home position.

When you reference this parameter in an AeroScript program, the parameter value is in the units specified by the unit mode of the task. If the task is in primary units mode, this parameter is in primary units. If the task is in secondary units mode, this parameter is in secondary units.
