RadiusCorrectionThreshold Parameter

Default Value: 0.05

Minimum Value: 0.0

Maximum Value: 360.0

Units: None

Type: double

Use the RadiusCorrectionThreshold parameter to specify a tolerance , in degrees, used to select the radius correction method of circular moves. If the angle traversed by the circular move is almost a full rotation of 360°, you can use this parameter to disable automatic radius correction.

For Example

The RadiusCorrectionThreshold parameter is set to 1 degree. All moves in the range from 0° and 359° automatically correct the radius. Moves between 359° and 360° degrees do not correct the radius and use the Jerk method as an alternative.

The Jerk method makes an immediate correction move to the start of the circle. Refer to RadiusErrorThreshold Parameter.

The RadiusCorrectionThreshold parameter is usually used with programs that are generated from CAD programs or post processors and have limited precision target and center positions.
