IMPORTANT: The controller sets digital outputs on a fault condition only for faults that you select in the FaultMaskOutput Parameter.
HARDWARE: On the iXR3 and XR3, you can use this parameter only on the first axis because all digital outputs are connected only to the first axis.
The FaultOutputSetup parameter specifies one or more digital outputs that the axis changes when it is in a fault condition. This parameter is bitmapped, where each bit corresponds to one drive output. When you select the box for an output, the axis sets that output to the state that is specified by the corresponding bit of the FaultOutputState Parameter.
The I/O mapping of your drive can limit how you configure digital outputs on a fault condition. For information about how I/O is mapped to different drive types, see I/O Functions.
