Table: Parameter Settings, Configurations, and Values
Setting | Configurations | Value |
---|---|---|
Acceleration Limiting Setup |
Slow Down |
0 |
Decel to Zero Velocity |
1 |
The CoordinatedAccelLimitSetup parameter tells the controller to slow down or decelerate to zero velocity when the DefaultCoordinatedAccelLimit or the DefaultDependentCoordinatedAccelLimit is violated while velocity profiling mode is enabled. For information about the velocity profiling mode, refer to Velocity Blending Functions.
Acceleration Limiting Setup
Slow Down is the default. The controller slows down at non-tangencies between moves so that commanded accelerations do not exceed the value of the DefaultCoordinatedAccelLimit Parameter. After the motion passes the non-tangency, the controller uses the current ramp mode settings to return the velocity to normal.
When you select Decel to Zero Velocity, the controller decelerates to a full stop for accelerations that exceed the value of the DefaultCoordinatedAccelLimit Parameter. Accelerations that are below the value of the DefaultCoordinatedAccelLimit parameter do not cause deceleration to occur.
