HARDWARE: This parameter does not apply when used with the GI4, the GL4 or the XL4s.
HARDWARE: On the iXR3 and XR3, you can use this parameter only on the first axis because all digital outputs are connected only to the first axis.
The BrakeOutput parameter specifies the type of output that controls the brake.
The BrakeOutput parameter specifies one of the values that follow based on the brake output and drive type that you are using. Drives with a dedicated brake output can use a value of -1 for that output or they can use a digital output number. Drives without a dedicated brake output must use a digital output number. To determine if your drive has a dedicated brake output, refer to the hardware manual.
- Dedicated Output - This value of -1 is the default. When you select this value, the controller assigns brake control to the dedicated brake output.
- Output 0 - Output 23 - These values are digital output numbers. When you select one of these values, the controller assigns the digital output number as the brake output.
