Analog0Filter1CoeffD2 Parameter

Default Value: 0.0

Minimum Value: -4.0

Maximum Value: 4.0

Units: None

Type: float

Tip: In the Analog Input Filters section of I/O in Studio, click View Coefficients to see the analog input filter coefficient parameters and their setup parameter. To see only the summary of filter specifications, click View Filters.

All Automation1 drives support two second-order digital filters on the analog inputs. Each filter contains the parameters that follow:

  • Analog0Filter1CoeffN0
  • Analog0Filter1CoeffN1
  • Analog0Filter1CoeffN2
  • Analog0Filter1CoeffD1
  • Analog0Filter1CoeffD2

The drive uses these parameters to implement a generic second-order digital filter. Refer to the equation that follows.

Where:

x is the analog input number.

y is the filter number.

On the first filter of each input, the coefficients default to a low-pass filter with a 250 Hz bandwidth. On the second filter of each input, the coefficients default to no filtering. You can use the View Filters option of the Analog Inputs Filters section of I/O in Studio to automatically calculate new coefficients based on the filter specifications you enter.

Analog inputs are sampled at a rate of 10 kHz on FLEX, iXA4, and XA4 and 20 kHz on all other drives.

HARDWARE: The drives and configurations that follow have one or two more analog inputs (Input 2 and/or Input 3). These inputs are programmed with a 250 Hz low-pass filter that you cannot change. To enable or disable these inputs, use the AnalogFilterSetup Parameter in the Configure workspace.
