Joystick Topic

Use the Joystick topic to configure parameters for the Joystick feature to manually control motion. When you configure these parameters and their related AeroScript functions, the output signals of a joystick can be mapped to control individual motion axes. This topic and its modules are in the Tasks category of the Configure workspace in Automation1 Studio.

For more information about Joystick parameters and their related AeroScript functions, see Joystick Functions.

Thresholds Module

The Thresholds module lets you specify a deadband voltage range for the axis and its related analog input channel. You can also specify the minimum and maximum output voltage for the axis.

Inputs Module

The Inputs module lets you specify which digital inputs are connected to joystick buttons A, B, C, and D. You can also specify which input is connected to the joystick interlock signal. This prevents joystick motion from occurring on an unconnected analog channel.
