Servo Gains

The controller feedback path uses the values of the servo gains for the mathematical calculations that it does when it updates the feedback control effort. When the controller operates in a typical use-case, you must change the values of three servo gains to change the behavior of the controller. These servo gains are the ServoLoopGainK Parameter, ServoLoopGainKiv Parameter, and the ServoLoopGainKip Parameter. If your axis has one feedback sensor, Aerotech recommends that you use the typical implementation of the servo loop with the standard K, Kiv, and Kip servo gains.
