Default Value: 0

Minimum Value: 0

Maximum Value: 2

Units: None

Type: int

Optional Purchase Necessary: This parameter is available only if you purchased the Dynamic Controls Toolbox option.

HARDWARE: Harmonic Cancellation does not apply when used with the GI4, the GL4, the SI4, or the XL4s.

Before you use this parameter, you must enable the HarmonicCancellationSetup Parameter.

Use the HarmonicCancellation1Input parameter when the HarmonicCancellation1Type Parameter parameter is set to Position to configure the position input from which the input of the algorithm is derived. Do not use this parameter when you set the HarmonicCancellation1Type parameter to Frequency.

When you set this parameter to Position Command, the input to the algorithm is derived from the position command to this axis.

When you set this parameter to Primary Feedback, the input is derived from the feedback device connected to the primary feedback connector and specified by the PrimaryFeedbackType Parameter.

When you set this parameter to Auxiliary Feedback, the input is derived from the feedback device connected to the auxiliary feedback connector and specified by the AuxiliaryFeedbackType parameter. The auxiliary feedback connector is not supplied on all drives. For a list of valid options, see AuxiliaryFeedbackType Parameter.

To configure this parameter in Automation1 Studio, open the Configure Workspace. In the Axes category, select the Optimization topic and find the Harmonic Cancellation module.
