Edit Lead Moves

In the Project pane, click the Expand button adjacent to each Shape to see the lead in and lead out moves. Lead in moves show before the other entities of the shape. Lead out moves show after the other entities of the shape.

To Change Lead Move Properties

Select the lead moves for one or more shapes by doing one of these procedures:
- To edit the lead in and lead out moves separately and give them different properties, you can click the shape on the canvas or you can select the shape in the Project pane. The properties for Lead Moves show in the Properties pane.
- To edit the lead in and lead out moves at the same time and give them the same properties, select one or more lead move entities in the Project pane. The Lead move property shows in the Properties pane.

NOTE: The values that you can select for the Direction property are different if you select lead moves for open shapes or lead moves for closed shapes. If you select both open shapes and closed shapes, then the Direction property is replaced with Direction (closed) and Direction (open) properties.
In the Properties pane, you can change the Type of lead move (Line or Arc), the Direction of the move, or any of the properties that configure the motion of the move.
NOTE: If you select shapes or entities that have different properties, the lead move type shows as –Different– in the Properties pane. Before you can edit any of the other lead move properties, you must change the Type to Line or to Arc. This will change the type for all of the shapes or all of the entities that you have selected.
