Status Utility Tabs
The Status Utility has many tabs that supply different types of information. To identify the applicable tabs necessary for you to look at, refer to the table that follows.
You can also monitor most of the information that you look at through the Status Utility with programs that you create. You can use AeroScript or the Automation1 .NET, C, LabVIEW, or Python API to write these programs.
Table: Status Utility Tabs
Tab | Description |
---|---|
Axis Status |
Shows status information about the axes. For more information about the axes, see the Drive Status tab. |
Diagnostics |
Shows information about analog inputs and outputs, digital inputs and outputs, position feedback, auxiliary feedback, and more for each axis. |
Drive Info |
Shows drive types, servo update rates, expansion board options, multiplier options, PSO options, amplifier temperatures, PSO information, and more for each connected drive. |
Drive Status |
Shows status information for the drive connected to each axis. For more information about the axes, see the Axis Status tab. |
Fault |
Shows the status of faults on each axis. |
Primary Feedback Status |
Shows the status of feedback devices on each axis, which includes limits, encoder errors, and more. |
Task Mode |
Shows information about the different modes that are active on each task. For more information about tasks, see the Task Status 0, Task Status 1, Task Status 2, and Tasks tabs. For information about user tasks, see Task and Program Functions. |
Task Status 0 |
Shows status information about each task. For more information about tasks, see the Task Mode, Task Status 1, Task Status 2, and Task tabs. For information about user tasks, see Task and Program Functions. |
Task Status 1 |
Shows status information about each task. For more information about tasks, see the Task Mode, Task Status 0, Task Status 2, and Task tabs. For information about user tasks, see Task and Program Functions. |
Task Status 2 |
Shows status information about each task. For more information about tasks, see the Task Mode, Task Status 0, Task Status 1, and Task tabs. For information about user tasks, see Task and Program Functions. |
Tasks |
Shows information about which program, command, or command queue is running on a task. It also shows information about the performance of a task, the errors on a task, the warnings on a task, and the task state. On this tab, the first entry of the task call stack is the deepest in the call stack. For information about user tasks, see Task and Program Functions. |
Controller |
Shows information about the controller state, controller errors, warnings, controller versions, controller performance, and internal controller counters. |
Data Collection |
Shows status information about data collection, the quantity of data that is being collected, and which scope trigger is active. For more information about data collection on the controller, see Collecting Data. |
Drive Nodes |
Shows information about drive nodes and how it relates to drive IDs, axes, and communication channels. |
Ethernet |
Shows information about Industrial Ethernet protocols, which include Modbus and EtherCAT. For information about how to use Industrial Ethernet on the controller, see Modbus TCP/IP Overview and EtherCAT Overview. |
HyperWire |
Shows information about HyperWire protocol statistics and errors. |
