The GantryPhysicalDirection parameter defines Decoupling Control behavior of a gantry. It can invert the direction of motion of one physical axis on a gantry. This parameter is typically set to Inverted for rotary gantries.
If you select Normal, which is a value of 0, the physical axis on the gantry moves in the same direction as the programmed motion of the Linear (R) logical axis.
If you select Inverted, which is a value of 1, the physical axis on the gantry moves in the opposite direction of the programmed motion of the Linear (R) logical axis.

IMPORTANT: On a gantry, you can set the GantryPhysicalDirection parameter to Inverted on one axis only. If the physical directions of the spars are the same but opposite of the desired programming direction of the logical Linear (R) axis, then enable the ReverseMotionDirection Parameter on the logical Linear (R) axis. This will reverse the programming direction of the logical Linear (R) axis.
