HARDWARE: This parameter does not apply when used with the GI4, the GL4, or the XL4s.

Aerotech offers an Enhanced Throughput Module that improves machine throughput by measuring base or frame vibration directly and using this information in a servo control algorithm. This feature is only available with the purchased hardware (the Enhanced Throughput Module).

Use the EnhancedThroughputGain parameter to set the gain of the Enhanced Throughput Module (ETM). This parameter should be used to tune the performance of the ETM in conjunction with your mechanical system. With a gain of 0.5 Amps per Volt, an input signal of 1 Volt from the ETM hardware will cause 0.5 Amps of current to be added into the current command of the axis.

Tip: If the ETM signal and motor current have opposite signs for the same disturbance, use a negative value for the EnhancedThrougputGain parameter.
