Quality Estimate

After you do Closed Loop Tuning or Open Loop Tuning, Automation1 Studio will show you a quality estimate from the previous measurement. The quality estimate is not an indication of servo performance or stability. It makes an analysis of the quality of the data fit to the plant model. If the quality estimate is less than 50%, Aerotech recommends that you do not accept the gains. In this condition, it might be possible to make the quality estimate better by increasing the disturbance amplitude.
