IMPORTANT: This parameter does not apply if the Encoder Configuration option for the PrimaryEnDatEncoderResolution parameter is set to Use Manufacturer Settings.

Use the PrimaryEnDatEncoderResolution parameter to specify the number of bits of resolution for the absolute position part of the EnDat encoder. You can get the number of bits of resolution from the encoder data sheet. This information is used to configure the serial communication interface to the EnDat encoder. For a multi-turn absolute encoder, you also should set the PrimaryBissEncoderTurns Parameter , which increases the resolution of the serial communication.
