HARDWARE: Harmonic Cancellation does not apply when used with the GI4, the GL4, the SI4, or the XL4s.
Before you use this parameter, you must enable the HarmonicCancellationSetup Parameter.
Use the HarmonicCancellation2Gain parameter to set the convergence rate of the Harmonic Cancellation algorithm. When you use more than one harmonic of a specified base period, Aerotech recommends that you set the gain for each harmonic to the base gain multiplied by the number of the harmonic.
IMPORTANT: If you set the gain too large, the algorithm can become unstable.
To configure this parameter in Automation1 Studio, open the Configure Workspace. In the Axes category, select the Optimization topic and find the Harmonic Cancellation module.
