Axis Dashboard Module

Optional Purchase Necessary: To use MachineApps, you must purchase the necessary licenses. For more information, refer to Automation1 MachineApps.

Add the Axis Dashboard module to your MachineApp so that users can see the axes that you configured to show in the application. You can configure if users can enable and disable, home, and jog axes. You can also configure the signals that show for each axis.

The Axis Dashboard module is a secondary module, so it can be added only to a secondary module region (top or bottom).

Use the MachineApps workspace in Automation1 Studio to:

  • Add the Axis Dashboard module to a MachineApp.
  • Configure the Axis Dashboard module.

Use the Axis Dashboard in Automation1 Studio to:

  • Configure the jog mode, speed, and distance settings for each axis.

Use the Manage Axes dialog in Automation1 Studio to:

  • Configure axes to show in the application.

Use the Automation1 MachineApps application to:

  • Enable and disable, home, and jog axes using the Axis Dashboard in a MachineApp

If Enable and disable axes is set to Off, the user will not be able to use the Axis Dashboard to disable an axis to stop motion. Toggle Show Abort Button in the MachineApp settings drawer to On so that the Abort button is available to stop motion.

To change which axes will show in the Axis Dashboard, use the Manage Axes dialog.

You cannot configure the jog mode, speed, and distance settings in a MachineApp. You must configure the jog settings in the Axis Dashboard in Automation1 Studio. Refer to the Axis Dashboard section on the Automation1 Studio page to configure jog settings.
