When you change a hatch style in your hatch style catalog, the Catalog Manager updates the version of the hatch style. Different projects that use hatch styles from your hatch style catalog can contain different versions of the same hatch style.
The Catalog Manager always applies the name of the item from your catalog to the version of the item that is in the project. This occurs for older item versions and newer item versions.
If you open a project that contains an older version of a catalog item than your catalog, the application automatically updates your project to the latest version of the item from your catalog.
If you open a project that contains a newer version of a catalog item than your catalog, the application tells you that a new version of the item is available. You must go to the Catalog Manager to select the version of the item you want to use.
