This page includes Windows and BIOS specifications, controller support, testing configurations, and ordering information for the Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tower.

General Specifications

The list that follows includes general specifications for the Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tower.

  • Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tower
  • Intel® Core™ i7-13700K

Controller Support

Automation1 2.7 and newer: The Lenovo ThinkStation P3 requires INtime 7, which is automatically installed by the Automation1 iSMC installer if INtime is not currently on the PC.

Automation1 2.6 and older: The Lenovo ThinkStation P3 can have problems because of the version of INtime that comes with Automation1 2.6 and older. Contact Global Technical Support for instructions on how to manually apply a custom INtime 7 upgrade so that this PC works with Automation1.

Windows Support

Automation1 was tested to make sure that it works with Windows 10 and Windows 11 when used with Lenovo ThinkStation P3.

On Windows 11 configurations and frequently on Windows 10 configurations, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled by default. You must disable TPM and all of the features that depend on it, such as BitLocker and drive encryption, so that Automation1 will have good real-time performance.

Configuration Tested by Aerotech

The list that follows includes information that you should know when you purchase a Lenovo ThinkStation P3.

  • Intel® 13th generation processors can have P-cores (Performance-cores) and E-cores (Efficient-cores). If you select an i5, i7, or i9 processor that has E-cores, you must disable the E-cores in the BIOS so that the PC will work with Automation1.
  • You can select a different amount of RAM. But, make sure that you order two RAM sticks so that you can use both CPU memory channels.
  • You can customize the size of your SSD.
  • Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 has better real-time performance than a dedicated graphics card.
