Advantech AIMB-275 Specifications and BIOS Settings
Ordering Information
You can no longer order a fully configured AIMB-275 based PC from Arrow or Advantech. If you want to use a PC that is based on the AIMB-275G2-00A2E motherboard, you can purchase the Automation1 iPC control cabinet PC with the -CC04 or -CC05 hardware option. This PC uses an Intel® i5-7500 or i7-7700 processor.

System Information
The list that follows includes important information about the AIMB-275 configuration:

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 is included so that you have more control over automatic updates. Windows 11 is not supported on this platform.

Windows is installed in Legacy boot mode (EFI booting is not supported for real-time performance).

The PC is configured with two RAM sticks so that you can use dual channel memory.
BIOS Settings
If you order an AIMB-275 based PC from Aerotech, the PC will be configured with the correct BIOS version and settings that are necessary for Automation1. The instructions to update the BIOS and BIOS settings that follow are included for reference only.
Updating the BIOS
Instructions to update the factory shipped BIOS for the AIMB-275G2-00A2E Configuration (Mini-ITX) follow. Use this procedure only if Aerotech tells you to:

Download AIMB-275.zip.

Extract the files.

Open How to flash the BIOS.pdf from the extracted files and use the instructions to update the BIOS.

Change the BIOS settings to be the same as in BIOS Settings for AIMB-275.
