Completing the Machine Setup Configuration

After you migrate the controller parameters, do the Machine Setup process to complete the configuration of Automation1. During this process, you will configure your electrical devices (HyperWire card and HyperWire drives) and your mechanical devices (stages and motors).

IMPORTANT: Because Machine Setup calculates new parameters for your migrated Automation1 system, it might overwrite the migrated A3200 parameters that you uploaded.

Examine the parameters that Machine Setup will change on the Summary milestone in the Machine Setup dialog. To do this, click View Changes. Then clear the selection for each parameter that you want to keep as part of the migrated A3200 parameters.

Tip: To access the Checklist, find the side menu in Automation1 Studio. Then click the Checklist button . The Checklist comes into view.
