Dynamic Controls Toolbox
The Dynamic Controls Toolbox option supplies algorithms that can improve the performance of the Automation1 Studio software and family of controllers. The Dynamic Controls Toolbox includes the features that follow.
-
Command Shaping: Command Shaping removes move-induced vibrations that occur in lightly-damped mechanical structures. It filters the Position Command of the axis so that the move does not excite vibrations that usually occur.
-
Cross-Axis Feedforward: Cross-Axis Feedforward is a controller-level algorithm that minimizes off axis position errors by splitting the feedforward output generated by the feedforward gains between multiple motors on different axes.
-
Harmonic Cancellation: Harmonic Cancellation reduces the tracking error to sinusoidal reference commands, motor force ripple or other position-dependent disturbances, and cross-axis disturbances including those that might be created in a linear axis by an unbalanced rotational axis.
