Protection Topic (Controller Category)

Use the Protection topic to configure faults, ESTOP, and which axes are physically connected.This topic and its module are in the Controller category of the Configure workspace in Automation1 Studio.

Protection Module

The Protection module lets you specify system-wide digital binary inputs for faults and ESTOP. You can also specify how the axis behaves when a fault is acknowledged and which axes are physically connected so the controller can verify them.
